He is survived by: his children, Alexander (Jenna) and Molly Vanderwood; his parents, Kent Vanderwood and Beverly Vanderwood; his brothers, Bryan, Timothy and Bradley Vanderwood; and his nieces, Vayda and Marley Vanderwood. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In honor of Matt and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to help his children with their education, housing, and other needs as they move into adulthood; donations may be made out to River of God Church as they have established a fund in the children's names.
