He was predeceased by: his siblings, George Visser, Ida Mae Johnson, Lillian Williams, Marian Sawicki, Jeanette Goeman, Rose Marie Gort, Audrey Veenstra and Trudy McNulty.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Gloria Jongsma (Dan), Deb Austhof (Bern), Karen DeGram (Russ) and James "Jim" Visser (Loretta); his sister Shirley Grit; and his sisters-in-law, Eileen Visser, Gladys Vanniman (Alan) and Ann Berkenpas Tjepkema. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
