With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth Joan Peterson of Byron Center, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ruth left this world on October 3, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert White and Dortha White; her husband Don; her children, Gary and Laura Kay; her grandson Ryan Peterson; and her sister Roberta Morrill.

She is survived by: her son Doug Peterson (Kathy); her grandchildren, Justin Peterson (Tara), Matthew Peterson (Katrina), Alyssa Peterson (Adam Sharp) and Emily Felton (Greg); her sisters, Margie Thelen (Dennis) and Janis DeGeer (Edward); and her siblings-in-law, Richard Morrill, Judy Drinan and Margie Peterson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
