Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Floyd Edward leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nelson and Agnes Nelson (Melvin); and his wife Mary Ada McPherson. He is survived by: his children, Carl Huffman of Flint, Jim Nelson (Becky) of Gaines, Donald Nelson (Noreen) of Byron and Cindy Warden (Dave) of Byron. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
