She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Temples and Hazel Temples (Gaines); her husband Keith P. Wert; her siblings, Robert Temples, Thomas B. Temples, Richard Temples, James Temples and Linda Hudson; and her brothers-in-law, Larry Manchester and Dave Wert.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Wert of Cadillac, Paula Short (Stacey) of Stryker, OH and Brent Wert of Cadillac; her siblings, Patricia Manchester and Larry Temples (Jenny); her stepgrandchildren, Kris, Mark (Meghan Skeens) and Eric; and her great grandchildren, Camden, Cannon and Collyns. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and special friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home (620 N Mitchell St, Cadillac, MI 49601).
