He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Crego and S. Maxine Crego (Parkinson); his brothers, Robert Crego and John "Jack" Crego; and his brothers-in-law, Ralph Conant and Alan Howarth.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Crego (Hoover); his daughters, Kimberly Stevens (Jeffrey) of DeWitt and Kristine Palmer (Tim) of Lansing; his grandchildren, Nicole Quinn (Wolgamott), Kyle Wolgamott of DeWitt, Kurtis Hoeve (Carly) of Lansing, Erin Jimmerson (Josh) of Potterville, Robin Celeski (Andrew) of Jupiter, FL and Casey Thompson (Jason) of Lansing; his great grandchildren, Isabelle Quinn (Riley Hendrick), Abigail Quinn, Payson, Paxton Jimmerson, Briar, Haisey Hoeve, Nik and Luke Celeski; and his siblings, Gayle Conant and Jeanne Howarth. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
