She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph L. Schornak and Florence G. Schornak (Rose); her husband Harry William Slater; her son Richard Schwab; and her brothers, Ernest and Joseph Schornak.
She is survived by: her children, Susie Schwartz of Lansing, Nancy Johnson (Art) of Las Vegas, NV and Mitchell Slater of Cadillac; and her sister Joan McCauley (John Streator) of Troy, MI. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
