She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Roma and Harriet Roma (Summers); her husband Gilbert L. Betser; and her sisters, Alice Ward (Sammy), Carol Golda and Margaret Roma.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marjorie VanHouten (Dick) of Marion and Sherry Long (Rick) of Howard City; her grandchildren, Nicole Cnossen (Michael), Erik VanHouten (Stephanie), Meggin Douglas (Kevin) and Ryan Long; her great grandchildren, Raigen, Jase, Charli, Elsa, David and Celia; and her brothers, Alfred Roma (Barbara) and George Roma (Kathleen). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Northern Michigan Christian School in McBain.
