He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. "Mickey" McDill and Theresa A. McDill (Mosher). He is survived by: his wife Janet Lee Jensen; his daughters, Dawn Harding, Monica Smith (Scott) and Heather Gravelyn; his siblings, Judy Heyd (Richard), William McDill (Pamela Lansdale), Anita Bonge (Jack) and Angela West; and his in-laws, Brian Jensen (Dawn), Deborah Jensen and Vicky Armstrong (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
