He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack Doherty and Jean Doherty; and his sister Mary McCurdy (John). He is survived by : his sister Marge Doherty (JoAnne); his wife Linda; his children, Kathryn Ann Doherty, Kerri Rice (Wayne) and Kevin Doherty (Kurt); his grandchildren, Katie Rice, Alyson "Aly" Rice and Kenley Rice; and his stepchildren, Ryan Schultz (Niki), Adam Schultz, Kevin Schultz (Anna) and Kelly Wilson (Mike). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
