He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Kinney and Helen Kinney (Burns); his siblings' children, Margaret Ellen Kinney and Clifford "Matt" Masten; his sisters, Linda Heron and Sandra Masten Baker; his cousin Willis Kinney, Jr.; and his uncles, Earl Kinney and Willis Kinney, Sr..
He is survived by: his girlfriend Eileen Chapman of LeRoy; his son Jimmy Kinney (Missy); his granddaughter Alison of Phoenix, AZ; his daughter Shelley Ruppert; his granddaughter Jourdan Ruppert; his brothers, Larry Kinney (Patricia) of Gowen, MI and Jack Kinney of Cadillac; and his stepdaughters, Kerri DeVries of Grand Rapids and Ashley DeVries of LeRoy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
