He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Dee and Eleanor Jane Cooley (Cowie); and his siblings, Phyllis, Robert and Donna.
He is survived by: his wife Judith A. Schmidt; his son Timothy Cooley (Nikki) of Boon; his stepchildren, Brenda Maier (Tim) of Cadillac and Greg Thompson (Stacey); and his siblings, Ken Cooley of Cadillac and Dolores Beaumann of Cadillac. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
