She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Eickel and Lily Eickel; and her brother Leonard Eickel. She is survived by: her husband John Worden of Cadillac; her sisters, Betty Murphy (Bill) of Surry and Gayle Wood (Mark) of Auburn; and her siblings' children, Kim Shotwell (Joe) of Bay City, Linda Stein (Rick) of Rochester, Gwen Murphy of Surry, Lisa Murphy of Richmond, Virginia, Bryan Eickel (Carolyn) of Lapeer, Steve Eickel (Renee) of Bay City, Greg Murphy (Laura) of Traverse City, Paul Wood (Stephanie) of Auburn and Jason Wood of Alma.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (800 W 13th St, Cadillac, MI 49601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in memory of Karen may be directed to St. Ann's school, St. Jude's Research Hospital, or the Missaukee Humane Society.
