Leo Cornell Obituary

We announce the death of Leo Cornell (Cadillac, Michigan), who passed away on July 26, 2026, at the age of 62. Leo will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Cornell and Janette Cornell (Hickey); his brother Robert "Bob" Cornell; and his father-in-law Jerry Eisenga. He is survived by: his significant other Shandra Eisenga; his stepchildren, Brandon and Amber Herlein; his grandchildren, Porter and Reyna; his siblings, Diane Gladu of Cadillac, Raymond Cornell (Anita) of Tustin and Colleen VanDeVelde (Tom) of Wesley Chapel; his sister-in-law Virginia Cornell; Karla Eisenga, Tarin Brunink (Brian), Gary Eisenga (Dawn) and Jason Eisenga. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the Veterans Serving Veterans organization.
