She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence DeVries and Martha DeVries; her husband Doug Boven; her brothers, Robert and Carl De Vries; her parents-in-law, Tony and Gertrude Boven; and her brother-in-law Richard Kornoelje.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Tonya, Craig McLeod, Lisa, Adam Bultman, Eric Boven, Nicole Jacobs-Boven (Isabel), Beth and Adam Commissaris (Zachariah); her sisters, Eva Kornoelja and Linda Stadt (Paul); and her siblings-in-law, Bruce Boven (Mary), Chris Boven (Mary), Linda Peterson (Scott), Phyllis DeVries (Carl) and Janice DeVries (Robert). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
