He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Cook and Mildred Cook (Harrington); his daughter Mary Tayler; his granddaughter Heidi Tayler; his former wife Alice Planck; his sister Verna Cook; and his wife Sally Cook.
He is survived by: his friends, Robin, Jerzy and Jamey; his children, Laurie Torres of Jefferson, Tom Cook (Roselinda) of Amarillo, Christy Buchanan (Al) of Traverse City and Jeremy Cook (Olivia) of Mesick; and his brother Jerry Cook (Suzy) of Fort Myers. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
