He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Devere and Mildred Irene Haines (Beals); and his brother Stephen "Steve" Haines. He is survived by : his siblings, Linda Moyer (Les) of Grand Rapids, Beverly Knudsen (Bill) of Ogden, Michael Haines (Cindy) of Cadillac, Bonnie Bessert (Joe) of Grand Rapids and Ken Haines (Ginette) of Cadillac; and his sister-in-law Willie Haines of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
