He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline and John; and his sister Barbara Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Scott Young (Elaina Beam) and Michelle Graves (Pete); his grandchildren, Ian and Heather Young; and his great grandchild Joy.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Peterson Funeral Home (205 E Cass St, Cadillac, MI 49601).
