William Smrekar Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Smrekar of Cadillac, Michigan, who passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Smrekar and Catherine Smrekar (Kobe); his wife Pat (Henwood); his siblings, Lawrence (Grace), Geraldine (Gerry), Kenneth Uptegraft, Clarice, Francis (Dutch), Marion (Cass), Joanne, Kenneth John, Janet and Gregory Matthews; and his brothers-in-law, Merle Stilwell and Terrance Weaver.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffery Smrekar of Cadillac, Marcie Litt of Boyne Falls, Susan Maciag (Paul) of Irons, Lynda Allemong of Gaithersburg, MD and Laura Smrekar of Grand Rapids; his grandsons, Brayden and Colton Allemong; and his siblings, Mary Ann Stilwell, Agnes (Pat), Kenneth Lambert (Ken), Delores (Dee), Robert Meyer (Bob) and Margaret Weaver. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
