He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his stepchildren, Kim, Scott Vandergalien, Margaret and Phil Plafkin; his stepgrandchildren, Keara Vandergalien, Chad Vandergalien, Tiffany Vandergalien, Derek Plafkin and Stephanie Plafkin; and his sisters, Carol (Joe) and Janet (Sil). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
