He is survived by: his children, Bob, Barb Miedema and Linda Miedema; his grandchildren, Brian, Karen Miedema, Melissa, Eric Reitsma, Rob, Mary Miedema, Brent, Kathy Miedema, Rachel, Andrew Weaver, Emily Miedema, Nicole Murphy, Phil, Andrea Miedema, Joy Miedema and Tricia Miedema; and his siblings, Louis Miedema, Art (Wilma Miedema), Ida Westendorp and Jim (Marie Miedema). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
