She was predeceased by: her husband Philip; and her siblings, Nancy, Bob, Richard and Roger.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Edwards, Mike Tietz and Kelly VanEerden (Scott); her grandchildren, Jessica Smith (Riley), Katherine Edwards (Paulo Quiros), Jaquez Edwards, Julia Tietz, Anna Canup (Alex), Megan VanEerden and Cody VanEerden (Kayla Whitley); her great grandchildren, Jordyn Smith, Christopher Smith and Rory Smith; and her friends, Terry and Glayda Lewis.
Memorial contributions in memory of Karen may be made to the Michigan Veteran Homes at Grand Rapids.
