Katherine Louise Karsten Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katherine Louise Karsten of Caledonia, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Louis Hadley; and her brothers, John Hadley, Kirk Hadley and Bill Hadley. She is survived by: her mother Wanda Hadley; her husband Tom; her children, Carrie Miller (Todd), Misty Eakins (Jason), Matt Murphy (Karri), Rachel Postma (Heath), Adam Murphy (Mandy) and Thomas Karsten (Crystal); her grandchildren, Joe, Megan, Nathan, Zach, Taylor (Tanner), Brayden, Ava, Tate, Cole, Miles, Landon and Finn; her great grandchild Teddy; and her sisters, Pat Wight (Ron), Vicki Berends and Julia Hadley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
