He was predeceased by: his son William Jacob; his parents, Robert N. Parker, Sr. and Marjorie Parker; his brother Tim Parker; and his mother-in-law Rita Mathe.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn; his children, Robyn Wilson (Josh), RJ Merkler, MacKenzie Parker, Daniel Parker and Lauren Parker; his grandchildren, Harper Burgess, Grace Wilson and Ellie Wilson; his siblings, Tom Parker (Tina) and Dotty Parker Higgins; his sister-in-law Christine Killinger (Tim); and his uncle Larry Albaugh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in memory of Bob may be made to the family to help with medical expenses.
