Jayne Carol Harvey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jayne Carol Harvey of Calumet, Michigan, who passed away on July 22, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Besander and Emma "Dolly" Besander; her husband John Paavilainen; her significant other Robert "RJ" Harvey; her brother Andrew Besander; her aunt Virginia Miller; her uncle William Lompre; her close friend Phil Baranowski; and her pet Daphne White.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna White (Rickey) and Tammy Fountaine (Robert); her grandchildren, Emily Fountaine, James White (Melissa) and Rickey White; her great grandchildren, Blaze, Xander, Pheonix, Ellowynn, Sofia and Isaiah White; her siblings, Jean Harmala of Ishpeming, Jill Nelson of Calumet, Laurel Rosemergy of Green Bay and Lowell "Tubby" Besander of Ishpeming; her pets, Tommy, Raymond and Rocco White; and her niece Amanda Baril. She is also survived by nephews, cousins, many special friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home (26090 E Pine St, Calumet, MI 49913). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the same location.
