He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Capello and Virginia Capello of Centennial Heights; his in-laws, Joseph and Mary Pechawer (Delores); his sister-in-law Mary Ann Randell (Robert); his siblings, Anne Glasgow (Raymond), Margaret Kingstrom (Gordon), Julia Koski (Levi), Albert Capello (Alberta), George Capello (Elsie) and Josephine Perkins; and his sons-in-law, Rick Maki and Dale Smallidge.
He is survived by: his daughter Jan Capello-Maki (Havanese) of Fenton, MI; his pets, Ernie and Emmie; his siblings-in-law, Donna Jutila (Robert) of Lake Linden, MI and David Pechawer (Raynelle) of Escanaba, MI.; his grandchildren, Erin Lane (Jim) of Lapeer, MI and Melanie Smallidge of Lapeer, MI.; Molly Rondeau (Cameron) and Tula of Maine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Church in Calumet, Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital, American Heart Association, and The Wounded Warriors Project.
