It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raymond Gerard of Calumet, Michigan, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gerard and Geri Gerard; and his brother-in-law Danny Jarve. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Sarah Kaura (DJ), Rachel Kotajarvi (Ben) and William Kotajarvi (Emma); his granddaughters, Alaina and Ellie Kaura; his siblings, Karen Berean (Virgil), Keith Gerard (Al Krohn) and Bryan Gerard; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Bessner (Susie), Debbie Jarve, Lori Bessner and Vicki Bessner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Siskiwit Reception Hall (26070 Pine St, Calumet, MI 49913). Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church (30650 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Faith Lutheran Church (Calumet) or a charity of your choice.
