He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence J. McKinstry and Aune McKinstry (Jokkela); his wife Gloria Jean (Jeanie); and his brother Ernest. He is survived by: his nephew Michael McKinstry (Peggy Pizzi); and his niece Debra Deiro.
