He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schofield and Alfreda Schofield (Severns); his wife Lynn Schofield; his daughter Vicki McGraw; his grandson Derreck Dobbs; and his siblings, Rose, Margaret, Ralph, Frank, Jr. and Dallas Schofield.

He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Leising (Jim), Shannon Dobbs and Wendy Thorp (Jarrod Hodge); his grandchildren, Bion Bertrand, Laira Thompson (Eric Benson), Dyllan Dobbs, Dalton Dobbs (Kathleen), Dacoda Dobbs, Llyssa Dobbs, McKenna Leising, Jeremy, Brittany, Kade and Lydia McGraw; his great grandchildren, Benson Najar, Liam Benson, Maliki Dobbs, Emmalyn Dobbs and Layla Benson; and his brother Bill Schofield.
