She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Wesley" Ellis and Edna Fay Ellis (Garwood); and her husband Alvan L. Trausch of Patrick's Catholic Church. She is survived by: her children, Bruce Trausch (Patty) of Adrian, Michael Trausch (Nancy) of Bryan, Cathy Day (Steve) of Boynton Beach and David Trausch (Tracy) of Temperance, Michigan; her grandchildren, Nick, Chris, Wes, Stephanie, Jake, Jessica, Jon, Katie and Nicole; and her stepgrandchildren, Chris D., Ashley, Courtney, Josh and Sidney. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (220 S East Ave, Montpelier, OH 43543). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (300 S Michigan Ave, Edgerton, OH 43517).
