He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Kimberlin and Lillian Kimberlin; his son Luke W. Kimberlin; his brothers, Ron and Steve; and his parents-in-law, Sylvester and Elizabeth Winter.

He is survived by: his wife Betsy; his children, Mark Kimberlin (Rose) and Jean Motta (Jeff); his grandchildren, Lilly, Nick, Maryann, Vincent and Baby Motta; his sister Laura McKay (Jim); his sisters-in-law, Deb (Ron) and Gale Kimberlin (Steve); and also, Richard "Skip" and Theresa Reath. He is also survived by seven siblings, countless nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the "Helping Hearts, Helping Hands Fund at St. Patrick's Parish" or the "American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP)".
