He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Vernon and John Vernon; and his siblings, Helen Moon-Gaines and Jim Vernon. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Vernon; his children, Trevor Vernon-Yates (Lechelle Vernon-Yates) and Dina Vernon Freeman (Brad Freeman); his grandchildren, Jack, Sam and Kate Freeman; and his siblings, Sue Morin, Larry Vernon and Joe Vernon. He is also survived by uncle.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home (46401 Ann Arbor Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
