He was predeceased by : his mother Thelma Jean Woodson. He is survived by : his father Edsel Thomas; his spouse Samia; his children, Erica, Ebony (Blair), Kira Eddi, Evonne, Evin, Ethan, Ashanti (Sulayman) and Farrow Steven Jr.; his grandchildren, Marquan, Markeil, Harlem, Mackenzie, Malaija, Blair Jr., Wentir, Ury, Aaliyah, Jada, DeAngelo, Maliyah, Seyah, Sulay and Sapphire; and his brothers, Antonio Miller and Rodney Woodson. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home - Canton (42600 Ford Rd, Canton, MI 48187). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Edward's family has requested that no flowers are be sent but cards are still welcomed.
