He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Pacente and Rosemary Pacente; his wife Janice Pacente; his children, Caitlin O'Callaghan (Mike), Joe Pacente (Katie) and John Pacente; his siblings, Nancy Opyd (David), Charlie Pacente (Janice), Barbara Pacente, Laurie Murphy (Larry), Annette Pacente and James Pacente; and his granddaughters, Emma and Evie O'Callaghan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home (46401 Ann Arbor Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas A'Becket Catholic Church (555 S Lilley Rd, Canton, MI 48188). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St Vincent DePaul at St. Thomas a'Becket Catholic Church, or to the American Heart Association.
