It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Jarvela of Canton, Michigan, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Kearly and Susan Kearly. He is survived by: his siblings, Shelly Jeffrey (William), Kim Roberts (William) and Stephen Kearly (Karen); his siblings' children, Cory, Trista, Sheree, Kalah, William, Andrew, Caleb, Bryson, Marklin, Lilianna and Emily; and his uncle Jerry Jarvela (Jill). He is also survived by many cousins, great-nieces, and one great-nephew.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stark Funeral Home (101 S Washington St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
