He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Lovasco and Phillip Vitale; his wife Gina; and his sisters, Lena Lovasco and Fran Ruggerillo.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Vitale, Phil Vitale and Marvin Raupp; his sisters, Jenny Mooney and Cathy James; and his caregivers, Maureen Walsh and Jerri Ann Steele.
A funeral service was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas A'Becket Catholic Church (555 S Lilley Rd, Canton Township, MI 48188).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital (click to the left) or Capuchin Soup Kitchen in his name.
