John leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. John’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Martin and Robert Martin; his wife Nancy; his son Robert; and his sister Dorothy Kluesner.

He is survived by: his daughter Laura Fontanive (David); his grandchildren, Ali Choma (Keith) and Chloe Mayes; and his stepchildren, Joseph Kimmel, Kristine Morand and Shawn Kimmel.
