The passing of Joyce Elizabeth Carlson of Canton, Michigan, born in Lockport, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 13, 2025 at the age of 94. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her adoptive father Robert; her husband Donald O. Carlson; and her grandson Jack Carlson. She is survived by: her son Gregory A. Carlson (Dorothy); her grandchildren, Bradley C. Carlson (Amy), Mikaela Bosio II (John), Mitchell Carlson (Andrea), Noah Carlson, Alex Carlson and Quinn Carlson; and her great grandchildren, Dorothea, Winnifred and John "Bruiser" Bosio III.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas A'Becket Catholic Church (555 N Lilley Rd, Canton, MI 48187). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joyce's name to The Cradle Society of Evanston (https://cradle.org), Illinois, an organization close to her heart, of which Joyce volunteered at and both Joyce and Greg were adopted from.
