We announce the death of Kathleen Ann Zauner of Canton, Michigan, who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Kelly and Joe Kelly; her siblings-in-law, Dan Kelly (late Judith), Frances Sperry (late Homer), Thomas Kelly and Anne Smirthwaite (William); and her husband George Zauner.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Knapp (Daniel), Lori Sullivan (Michael), Lisa Walker (Jack), David Zauner (Kelli) and Renee Koszegi; her grandchildren, Michael, Ryan Sullivan, Jackson, Taylor Walker, Grace, Abigail, Ellie Zauner, Lenin, Keanadie Hansen, Mackenzie Koszegi and Reece Velasco; and her siblings-in-law, Michael Kelly (late Sheila), Patrick Kelly (late Carol), Maureen Hassien (late Bud) and Joe Kelly (Cheryl). She is also survived by her family including many nieces and nephews, her friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home - Canton (42600 Ford Rd, Canton, MI 48187). A prayer was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 7:15 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery (621 W Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48098).
