It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leandra Lynae Saenz of Canton, Michigan, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Leandra's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Leandra has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Timothy R. Saenz; her children, Dakota Ray and Makayla Saenz; her parents, Robert Light and Rebecca Light; and her siblings, Deborah Freeland (Ron), Robin Shelp (Michael) and Randy Light (Cindy).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home (980 N Newburgh Rd, Westland, MI 48185). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
