She was predeceased by: her husband Deo Forest Reynolds, Jr.; her son David Reynolds; her brother Fred Boldt, Jr.; and her cousin Marilyn Lloyd. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Her contributions to education were formally recognized in 1989 when she received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Detroit High School Principals Association for her outstanding commitment and leadership in advancing education within the Detroit Public School System.
