She was predeceased by: her parents, Clair Smith and Bertha Smith (Hall); her former husband James Michael Quain; her granddaughter Maria Quain; her brothers, Blake and Brion Smith; and her brother-in-law Albert DeSmit.
She is survived by: her children, James Quain (Colleen), Timothy Quain (Becky) and Jane Nabors (Bill); her great grandchildren, James Joseph, Elizabeth Kovacs (Eric), Olivia, Eamon, Emeric, Liam, Adrian, Katarina Barbosa (Ramon), Rafael, Madalena, Beatriz, Emily Torzala (Daniel), Andrew, Aurora, Lucy, Juliette, Leonardo, Kevin, Justin, Juliana, Christian, Cecilia, Eleanor, Ciaran, Abigael, Enya Jacas (Corey), Killian, Cora, Emori, Aidan (Anna-Marie), Donny, Thea-May, Lettie, Moira, Egan, Zoë, Trea-Marie, Caelin, Simon (Shradha), Rani, Jiya Nabors-Parekh, Margaret (Christian) and Nabors-Rodriguez; her sisters, Betty DeSmit and Beth Russ (Doug) of Armada; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Smith and Lorraine Smith. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kaatz Funeral Directors - Capac (202 N Main St, Capac, MI 48014). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the East Berlin Cemetery (1481 Lathrop Rd, Allenton, MI 48002).
