With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara Mae Basinger of Carleton, Michigan, born in Flat Rock, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Barbara Mae left this world on April 20, 2024 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Kuderik and Anna Kuderik (Grabetz); her husband Jack Basinger; her sons, Jeffrey Matthew Basinger and Jeffery Wayne Basinger; her sisters, Rosemary Kuderik and Millie Lisic; and her granddaughter Rochelle Basinger.

She is survived by : her children, Jack Basinger, Jr., Joseph Basinger (Chantelle) and Brenda Caruso (David); her siblings, Joanne Willis, John Kuderik (Pauline), Frank Kuderik and Joseph Kuderik (Ruth); and her grandchildren, Jack Basinger, III (Tiffany), Joshua Basinger (Desiree), Brittany Basinger and Joseph Basinger (Katie). She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 2:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bobcean Funeral Home (1142 Monroe St, Carleton, MI 48117). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Medilodge of Monroe or any charity that contributes to the research of dementia.
