She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil Hinzmann and Dorothy Hinzmann (Bondy); and her brother Dennis Hinzmann. She is survived by : her husband Edwin Bennett, Jr. of Mary's Catholic Church; her sons, Edwin Bennett, III (Gwen) and Lance Bennett (Danielle); her granddaughter Kaitlyn Bennett; and her brother Virgil Hinzmann, Jr. (Colleen).

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Center.
