She was predeceased by: her parents, George McClanahan and Betty McClanahan (Wages); and her siblings, Sandy Mobley and Darrell Dawson. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Tackett; her children, Teresa Harper (Greg) and Gerald Tackett, Jr. (Christine); her brother Kent McClanahan (Karen); and her grandchildren, Christopher Marshall (Michelle), Stephanie Revard (Michael), Eddie Gutierrez, Heather Anderson (Jeremy) and Bradley Tackett (Nicole). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Amyloidosis Foundation.
