She is survived by: her husband Robert Menzel of Paul's United Methodist Church; her stepdaughter Denise Williamson (George); her siblings, Larry Ellison and Kathy Thoma; her sister-in-law Margaret Ellison; and her nieces and nephews, Mark, Jennifer, Amy, Shawn, Greg, Carrie and Jill. She is also survived by two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Janice's memory are suggested to the Humane Society of Monroe County.
