He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Menzel and Evelyn Menzel; his wife Janice Menzel; and his brother Jerry Menzel. He is survived by: his daughter Denise Williamson (George); his grandchildren, Darren Marsh (Nicole) and Amanda McMahon (Justin); his great grandchildren, Payton, Jacob, Cory and Jaden; and his nieces and nephews, Debbie Rose, Carrie Focht, Amy Diaz, Jill Fredericks, Jennifer Wiley, Mark Menzel, Michael Menzel, Mark Ellison and Greg Thoma.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
