He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Parker and Goldie Parker (Wisdom); his wife Delores Burkell; his son James Parker; his granddaughter Deanna Parker; his son-in-law Thomas Zawerucha; and his siblings, Eva Magill, Carl Parker, Glenna Fuhrman, Delphia Callahan, Billie Lowe and Don Magill.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Zawerucha, Joe Parker (Debbie), Mike Parker (Cindy), Tina Long (Gordon), Sheryl Torres (Robert) and Bobby Parker (Bernadette); and his siblings, Jimmy Magill (Diane), David Magill (Geneva), Betty Jones (Dennis), Russell Parker (Leasa) and Norma Koonce (Don). He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; fifty-one great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ransford Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Caro (205 W Sherman St, Caro, MI 48723). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ransford Funeral Home – Caro (205 W Sherman St, Caro, MI 48723).
Memorials may be made to the Saginaw Bay Community Sailing Association or Residential Hospice.
