He was predeceased by: his brother Earl F. Mattlin III. He is survived by: his wife Diana Singer; his children, Kimberly Ashcraft (Chris) and Michael Mattlin (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Alex Odorico and Echo Vesper (Luke); his stepgranddaughter Jodi Rynearson (Greg); his stepgreat-grandson Coby Fetting (Jade); and his brother Martin Mattlin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (503 S State St, Caro, MI 48723).
At Dave's request, please do not send flowers, if you wish to give an expression of sympathy it is asked to consider memorial contributions to the Caro Volunteer Fire Department, Samaritan's Purse, or St. Paul Lutheran Church Education Fund.
