With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delmar Nichols Sr. of Caro, Michigan, born in Wayne, Michigan, who passed away on January 9, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar F. Nichols and Marie Nichols (Petrie); his brother John "Sonny" Nichols; and his father-in-law Eugene Rivest. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Rivest; his close friend Jean Nichols; his children, Jean Bunker, Delmar Nichols, Jr., John Nichols (Cris), James Nichols (Carrie) and Penny Day; his grandchildren, Leroy Bunker III (Alyssa), Jake Nichols (Melissa), Austin, Steven Nichols, Sam Nichols, Liz Day, Molly Nichols, Colton Nichols, Hayden Nichols, Nathan Nichols, Tyler Day, Collin Nichols, Laikyn Nichols, Sarah Nichols and Mylee Wolthuis; his great grandchild Olivia Bunker; and his mother-in-law Geraldine "Jerry" Rivest.
There will be a Celebration of Life planned when COVID restrictions are lifted.
